The Best Pilates Studios in Austin

Are you searching for a workout that can help you improve your strength and flexibility?

Then consider taking Pilates classes.

This form of exercise dates back to the early twentieth century. It's now popular around the world, and the studios near our Austin apartments include:

The Pilates Center of Austin

When the Pilates Center of Austin opened in 1993, it became the first Pilates studio in the city. It offers a dynamic journey and is where boundaries are broken, not set. Founder, Wendy LeBlanc Arbuckle, is known for her groundbreaking 3Core Connections teaching perspective. Her experience spans four decades, and Vogue called her "one of America's top 55 trainers" in 1995. All of the instructors are certified, and they encourage students to meet their fitness goals. The classes last one hour and feature a five-minute warm-up and a five-minute cool down. Choices include Restorative, Basic Mat, and Basic Reformer.

Pilates South Austin

At Pilates South Austin, founders Beth Dukleth and Kari Lavassar help students feel their best. Beth was a Rockette for twelve years and has performed around the world. She started Pilates as a way to enhance her dancing. After realizing the change in her strength, she decided to become certified to help others achieve the same fate. Classes include Reformer, Pilates Burn, and Open Level Pilates.

Upswing Pilates

Upswing Pilates features close-knit instructors who strive to inspire students along the path of health and wellness. They have years of experience and only offer private sessions. A personalized workout is created based on each client's needs. The equipment is state-of-the-art, and the lessons can change from class to class.
