Where to Shop & Dine at the Hill Country Galleria

Where to Shop & Dine at the Hill Country Galleria

Not far from our Austin apartments is a 1.3 million square foot lifestyle center featuring dozens of shops and restaurants.

We are talking about the Hill Country Galleria, and it also features fifty acres of green space.

Highlights include:

Oriental Rug Gallery of Texas

Established in 1930, the Oriental Rug Gallery of Texas features a design-savvy staff. There are thousands of rugs, many of which are one-of-a-kind. They come in all shapes and sizes and are offered at an unmatched value. The store is family-owned, and the rug specialists provide a pressure-free experience.

James Avery Jewelry

At James Avery, all of the jewelry is made in Texas. Founder James Avery moved to the state in the 1950s. He had been stationed at the Lackland Air Force Base during World War II, and never forgot the people or the inspiring surroundings. James started the business at his home before opening its headquarters in Kerrville. The varied selection includes charm bracelets, heart-shaped necklaces, and turquoise earrings.

James Avery also believed in giving back. That's why he established Forging Hope in 2003. It supports nonprofit organizations throughout the country, and to date, over $18.5 million has been raised.

Tony C's Coal Fired Pizza

Tony C's boasts that it's a few degrees above the rest. The Ciola family has served authentic Italian cuisine since 1949. Third-generation restaurateur, Tony Ciola, bakes delicious pizzas in Austin's only coal-fired oven. He uses time-honored family recipes that have guests returning again and again. Specialty pizzas include Margherita, Bianco, and Mama Mia. They pair well with the garlic knots and a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon.

If you would like to live near the Hill Country Galleria, please contact us. We will arrange a private tour of our East Austin apartments so you can see firsthand all we have to offer.
